Welcome to SnapToken, your go-to platform for sharing beautiful moments from weddings, parties, celebrations and big life events. Before you dive into and share these great memories, please take a moment to read and understand the following disclaimer.

Content Ownership

Users uploading content on SnapToken affirm that they own the rights to the photos and videos or have obtained necessary permissions for their submission. SnapToken does not claim ownership of any content uploaded by users. By sharing content on our platform, users grant SnapToken a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute the content.

Content Holding Period

Content uploaded to SnapToken will be hosted for the period denoted in the package purchased (Platinum packages for at least 12 months). After this period lapses, uploaded event content will be relocated to SnapToken cloud storage where it is recoverable for up to 1 year (administrative charges apply). If content is not downloaded or requested within the specified timeframe, they will be permanently deleted. SnapToken is not liable for any loss of content resulting from deletion after the hosting period. If you'd like your whole album's content deleted permanently at anytime, please contact us and this will be actioned within 7 working days

Privacy Considerations

Users are responsible for respecting the privacy of individuals depicted in their photos and videos. Ensure that you have obtained consent from all recognizable individuals before uploading content.

Data Controller: SnapToken (referred to as "we", "us", or "our") is the data controller responsible for the processing of your personal data.

  • When you register an account with us, we collect your name, email address, and other necessary information.
  • When you upload photos or videos, we collect the content you provide.
  • We may also collect technical data such as IP address, browser type, and device information.

  • We process your personal data to provide you with access to our services, including hosting and sharing photos and videos.
  • Your email address may be used for communication purposes, such as account verification, notifications, and updates related to our services.

Legal Basis for Processing. We process your personal data on the basis of:

  • Your consent: By agreeing to these Data Protection Terms and Conditions, you consent to the processing of your personal data for the purposes outlined herein.
  • Performance of a contract: Processing is necessary for the performance of the contract between you and us, i.e., providing access to our services.
  • Compliance with legal obligations: Processing is necessary to comply with legal obligations, such as data protection laws.

Community Guidelines

Users must adhere to our community guidelines and terms of service. Content that violates these guidelines may be removed without notice. Prohibited content includes, but is not limited to, explicit or offensive material, infringement of intellectual property rights, and any content that may incite harm or discrimination. Users are strictly prohibited from uploading or sharing illegal or immoral content, including but not limited to content involving violence, hate speech, child exploitation, or any activity that violates laws or ethical standards.

Liability and Indemnification

SnapToken is not responsible for the accuracy, legality, or appropriateness of user-uploaded content. Users agree to indemnify and hold SnapToken, its affiliates, and partners harmless from any claims, liabilities, or expenses arising from their use of the platform.

Fair Usage Policy

For all event packs, file upload size and quantity is subject to fair usage policy. Although in most cases SnapToken will allow as many files of any size as needed for an event, SnapToken reserves the right to limit file uploads. You are guaranteed up to 200GB per event, anything beyond that will be reviewed on a per event basis and SnapToken reserves the right to terminate your event in those circumstances.

Age Restriction

Users must be at least 18 years old to use SnapToken. Parents or guardians are responsible for any content uploaded by minors.

Termination of Services

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to our services at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason deemed appropriate by us.

1. Subscription to Newsletter
By subscribing to our newsletter, you consent to receive periodic emails containing updates, promotions, news, and other relevant information. You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe.
